Fighter Test Pilot

RAAF Staff College Association member, Air Vice-Marshal (Ret’d) Bob Richardson AO, has penned, self-funded and self-published an excellent book, “Fighter Test Pilot” in which he describes a wide range of adventures in the air, from when he was a teenager sailplane flying to the exacting skills of flight testing high performance jet aircraft. It is described in the foreword by former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal (Ret’d) Ray Funnell AC, as “a wonderful book”. Proceeds from its sale will support the Ad Astra Foundation, which is dedicated to developing initiatives catered specifically to veterans and their families, aiming to enhance their overall health and well-being. Opportunities will be provided at RAAFSCA lunches for members to purchase copies of Bob’s book (using a credit card facility).
